Week 10 Term 1

For the first two lessons of this week we were working on our final design on Freehand. We were given a kind of lesson on the ways of Freehand by Yana (student teacher) on Tuesday. I have photographed my concept designs and will post them on my blog soon.On Friday we had two periods of practical, finishing off putting the components on the PCB boards. But I was sick for the second period so I didn't quite finish mine..

Week 9 Term 1

Last Friday we did two hours of practical. We completed our PCB boards (and posted the photos today). We drilled out the holes and drew in the lines, from the artwork, with vivid and put it in the acid bath. then we took a photo. The PCB board is for the final design. Because we have only done a little bit of practical we haven't had any client feedback yet.I was away on Tuesday this week but the rest of the class did more work on Solid works.For the rest of this week we are going to put in the components.

The blocks are for the solar panel and the battery. The wire is to connect to the potentiometer.

Week 8 Term 1

On Tuesday this week we worked on getting to know Solidworks. We are getting much better. On Wednesday we updated blogger/calender again and Friday we did practical. We were finishing off our PCB boards, drawing in the lines and drilling out the holes.
